Debt Ceiling Bill and NEPA

President Biden and Speaker McCarthy reached an agreement over the Memorial Day Weekend to raise the federal debt ceiling and address other matters. One element of the deal is the Builder Act which makes numerous, positive changes to the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969. LNG Allies, The USLNG Association, applauds all of those involved in hammering out this historic compromise to update America’s basic environmental statute, the first such changes in more than four decades.
