Germany’s Brunsbüttel LNG Terminal Finalizing Import Contracts

(S&P Global Platts) Stuart Elliott (March 29): The developer of the planned 8 Bcm/year LNG import terminal at Brunsbüttel in northern Germany is finalizing binding import contracts with several market players. German LNG Terminal—whose developers are Gasunie, Vopak, and Oiltanking—is one of three LNG import terminals under development in northern Germany. Spokeswoman for GLT: “We are making substantial progress and are in the process of finalizing the contracts with the customers,” adding that this pertained to “several binding contracts on import capacity.”
